Elementary school pupils once again showed that they are very adaptable and that they are extremely good, through the third online coding challenge with micro:bit computers.
On 10 December in Zenica, the third coding competition was held for primary school students.
The British Council in Bosnia and Herzegovina is starting to implement new a new cycle of trainings within the "Schools for the 21st Century" programme. Now it is the turn of U-S canton.
Regional competition was held on 4 April 2019 during the Digital Summit in Belgrade, Serbia. There were 13 teams competing from all Western Balkans countries.
Students Nemanja Rikić and Ana Marija Todorović, from 'Aleksa Šantić' School, Ugljevik, Bosnia and Herzegovina - winners of Regional Competition organized within the British Council's programme "21st Century School" presented their project on international fair of new technologies in education, “Bett Show” in London, on Micro:bit's Foundation stand.
On Wednesday, 7 October, we held the first Online Coding Challenge with micro:bit devices. Given the still unstable situation with the Covid-19 virus, we wanted to protect the health of all students, teachers, jury members and our colleagues, and we decided to organize application process as well as competition itself digitally.
