We are looking for consultants/trainers to support the implementation of our project Spark: Skilled Youth Empowered Communities, Mostar. The project is funded and implemented by the British Council in Bosnia and Herzegovina from May 2024 to March 2025.

Deadline for applications: Thursday 10 October 2024 (23.59 CET)

Project description

The Spark project aims to empower young people in Mostar by enhancing their coding skills and digital literacy through the use of microbit devices and related technology. This initiative will build on the foundations set by the 21st Century Schools project, promoting critical thinking and problem-solving through hands-on learning.

Through a series of workshops, students aged 08–15 will engage in coding activities using microbit devices. They will learn not only the technical skills of coding but also how to apply these skills to solve real-world problems. The programme will culminate in a Coding Challenge, where students will demonstrate their newfound abilities by tackling collectively identified challenges.
