Call for Consultants: Trainer/Mentor for University Students in Peace Education and Intercultural Pedagogy – SPARK Project

The British Council Bosnia and Herzegovina is seeking qualified consultants to join the SPARK: Skilled Youth Empowered Communities, Mostar BiH project as Trainers/Mentors. This project, running from May 2024 to March 2025, aims to foster empowered communities by providing skills development to young people in Mostar.

Position: Trainer/Mentor for Workshop Series Development

  • Location: Sarajevo and Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina
  • Duration: Up to 8 days from 20 November 2024 to 31 March 2025
  • Scope of Work: Develop and deliver workshops on peace education, intercultural and environmental pedagogy, and provide online mentorship for students of English.

Qualifications:

  • PhD in English Language or related field, with experience in applied linguistics, teacher development, and/or peace education.
  • Demonstrable experience in delivering workshops, mentoring students, and integrating themes of intercultural understanding into language education.
